LICK Paint are an eco friendly supplier of decorating products. The company was founded in 2019 by Lucas London and Sam Bradley – both experienced startup entrepreneurs.
This lifestyle enhancing paint range comes in 12 different colours; 8 unique to LICK and 4 standard colours (black, white, red and grey). Each colour has it’s own special properties which make them different to other paints available on the market.
LICK paints are made from water based acrylic, free of odour and fumes, they are safe for use in living areas as well as kitchens and bathrooms. They adhere to most clean smooth surfaces; painted walls (preferably fresh), wood, metal, glass and most plastics. They provide a matt finish which can be left as is or over-painted with any standard emulsion paint.
Ideal to buy in bulk, these paints come in 600ml tins (14 cans of paint per box). They are available online at LICKpaint.co.uk.

LICK Paint will be launching a take-back paint scheme later in the year. We’re working closely with local authorities to provide you with an environmentally friendly way of disposing your empty tins.
For now, empty tins can go into your household recycling bin and we’ll recycle them for you.

Yes, we’ve tested our products extensively to ensure they’re safe for use in living areas such as kitchens and bathrooms. We use a special blend of acrylics & water-based materials to provide the perfect finish.

By encouraging customers to plan ahead, they’ve helped reduce litter in our streets and by-ways; not only this but recycling their old paint tins helps save energy (less power is required to make new cans) and reduces emissions.
What are the benefits of using LICK’s low VOC paint?
Like many other manufacturers, they have reduced the amount of chemicals in their products to make them friendlier for the environment. With a low VOC count, this is one of the main environmental advantages to using LICK Acrylics. There are also health benefits associated with using our paints, as many VOC’s can cause nausea and headaches. LICK paint is completely odourless and has minimal fumes.
What maintenance requirements are there?
Lick Acrylics have very low odour so they require no ventilation when being used which means you won’t need to worry about opening all your windows or creating a negative pressure in the room.
A damp cloth will clean fresh paint and a dry cloth will remove any spills or marks. You can also use household cleaners when needed which is much better for your walls than using chemical cleaners that weren’t designed to be used with paint.
