Philips DiamondClean Reviews
I quite like my teeth, I like the fact they’re not in a glass next to my bed at night time. I’ve always used a £1.99 toothbrush, usually picked up at the same time as I did my shopping. Now when my dentist, had me on my back, helpless and she said; ” You’re not getting deep enough with the cleaning, you really should get an electric toothbrush” I just nodded and gurgled a response.
Aside from flossing and rinsing, brushing my teeth twice a day is practically a bare minimum. Now, while that sounds like an awful lot of time spent on dental hygiene, I utilise an electric toothbrush to expedite the task. I was initially resistant to the idea of an electric toothbrush, because I didn’t really see the point of switching up from my trusty manual technique.
However, my dentist explained that electric toothbrushes are much more effective in cleaning because of their rotating brush heads, and is able to clean tough crevices. So, when my dentist recommended Philips DiamondClean series, I decided to give it a go.
Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 Electric Toothbrush with Travel Case, 3 x Cleaning Modes, 3 Intensities & Additional Toothbrush Head – Black (UK 2-pin Bathroom Plug) – HX6870/47 is the model I went for, which you can click here to order.
Though Philips isn’t a pioneer in dental technology, the DiamondClean series has been well-received by the masses. Currently, this third generation of the DiamondClean series claims to be a new and improved version. I’m not one for special designs or detailed packaging, but I must admit that as far as daily essentials go, it surely doesn’t hurt to be in the possession of an efficient, affordable, yet stylish electric toothbrush.
So I’m now the proud owner of a Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 Electric Toothbrush, and my teeth are better for it.
The electric AdaptiveClean brush head reportedly removes up to 10x more plaque compared to manual toothbrushes. Aside from the normal modes available, opt for effortless deep cleaning in the Deep Clean mode that offers a 3 minute brushing time. Compared to manual brushing, the DiamondClean electric toothbrush completes the task with a flourished finish.
