Hell yes, forget the scouring pad and wire wool to clean the metal bars and grates. Here all you need to do is simply remove grilling mat once cool ( obviously, as we don’t want burnt fingers).

Nowt better in the English summer than sitting outdoors, a glass of Pimms enjoying the sunshine for the 7 days that UK summer lasts. Better get your arse in gear and sort the jungle out.
After my son managed to run over the power chord of my previous mower, I decided to look for a replacement. Ideally, one that is foolproof. ( Hey buddy, still friends and, no I don’t want you to do the lawn again ).
So I grabbed a brew, got online and had a look at a few different machines, ranging from cheap and nasty to the Rolls Royce type ride on machines. Ideal for the Lord of the Manor with his 300 acres but a bit of an overkill for a 20ft by 10ft patch of scrub.
Using an electric lawn mower can be a really simple task – once you get used to it. Famous last words you say! It is convenient and gets work done really fast! The Flymo Hover Vac 280 electric lawn mower is one such product. This is a corded lawnmower that is manufactured by the well-known brand name “Flymo”, one of the market leaders.
What I really like is that it’s ready to go out fo the box. No searching for screwdrivers or allen keys, no 20-page booklet of instructions and bags of 50 screws of which 49 are there. Nope just take it out of the box and plug it in. It also means its easier to store as the handle folds down over the mower so it takes up less room in the garage.
It did a pretty good job, we’re not talking crown bowls or anything but enough to keep the neighbours happy and for me to stand back, crossed arms and admire my hard work. Time for a beer!
