Xbox One X 1TB Console with Forza 7
I had a Wii and it packed in. The only console I’ve had in the past 20 years, it died a death middle of last year. My son was telling me about his latest buy so I thought, ‘Fuck it let’s get one and give it a try’.
So that’s just what I did for Christmas. Here’s what I think of the new toy, the Xbox One X .
To be honest, I’ve never experimented with electronic gaming. After all, I spent most of my childhood in the great outdoors. But I always had a desire to own a brand new personal gaming console. This package also included the latest premium racing game, the Forza Motorsport 7!
Though I have never actually handled a sports car, I was confident that I could steer (and race!) my way around in a virtual world. Boy was I blown away by the realistic high definition quality of ForzaTech! Designed with an ultra high definition of 60 frames per second and 4K resolution, Forza delivered a realistic experience. I gotta thank the team that built this game. if you’re not likely to do drive the real car, this has to be the next best thing
You can choose from over 700 ForzaVista cars. Just name the type of sports car, and chances are, it will be available in this catalogue. Also, no racing game will be complete without the scenic racing environments – there are 30 world famous destinations to choose from. You might have been around the world, but I’m sure you’ve never experienced this virtual reality! Varying weather conditions also play a role. Puddles of water, foggy windows hamper the driver’s abilities, as vivid as real life, just like being in the UK!
From detailed specifications to visual designs and extra modifications, the Forza Motorsport 7 has included appearance personalisation. Customize your driver down to the T, select a body type complete with racing outfits and helmets in high definition.
I also discovered that there are enhanced spectating modes and a split-screen play mode. The premier racing championship is a battle for the Forza Driver’s Cup suitable for single player challenges. On the other hand, the Forza Racing Championship esports league means that I could challenge my mates to a multiplayer tournament. If you don’t have the Forza 7 game, it’s available here.
It has to be said that its addictive, just one more go, just need to beat my personal best, just need to try one more tweak to the set-up. But what do they say, all work and no play makes FLS a dull boy and we can’t be having that, can we?
